锘匡豢The newest arrival on the hip-hop circuit, Bling, lives up to its
glitzy name.
Located above the Naked Cow, the former Level Two has been transformed
into a decadent playground for the Shanghai elite. Black walls and
low-set lamps draw your eyes to the dazzling chandeliers and gold framed
bar where bartenders mix tasty cocktails that range from RMB 50-60.
A mix of fresh beats sets this club apart from its predecessors. While
other clubs are content to loop the same tracks night after night, Bling
brings in talent with updated record collections to keep the masses
popping and grinding into the night. The attention paid to this excellent
music is likely accredited to the club's owner, Wilber Pan, a famous
hip-hop star in Taiwan.
On most nights the crowd is heavily populated by ABC's, young locals and
the regular Guandii set. Expect long lines for the bathroom. Perfect for:
hanging with your honeys.
