If you feel you are healthy, then you can recommend yourself to be a
"Healthy Star of Beijing."

If you haven't caught a cold for the last 6 months, don't have high blood
pressure, have a reasonable size, healthy teeth and a wide range of
hobbies, are emotionally stable as well as being adaptable to change,
then you can sign up to be the star.

This is the first such ranking held in Beijing. The organizer is the
Beijing Healthcare Bureau Disease Control Department. A department
official says the purpose of the event is to bring people's attention to
health. The ranking will show real healthy people as examples that every
citizen can see.

Participants will be grouped by age, including youth, the middle-aged and
senior citizens. Applicants need to score themselves against a list of
criteria that cover both physical and mental aspects, as well as
lifestyles. Initial selection will be held in each district.

The organizers hope to come up with 5,000 healthy stars. Among them, 100
will be chosen as health missioners and 20 as health ambassadors.
